ENTERTAINER

Last 35 Days to Get a Discount on Entertainer

If you haven’t purchased the Entertainer yet, it’s (almost) your last chance to get a discount on it before the promo code expires on 31 Oct 24.

IMO, it’s still the best all-round app to save money in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and further afield. Based around two for one offers across bars, restaurants, brunches, attractions, lifestyle and other categories, it offers ā€˜Buy One Get One Free’ vouchers and can provide heaps of value.

The discount code EDSD24* will work for 10% off all products. Read more about Entertainer from previous editions here*.

Entertainer Dubai 2024 is currently 445 AED, whereas GCC (i.e. including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other GCC countries) is 545 AED. Promo code discount will be applied on the checkout page, after you’ve entered the promo code EDSD24.

Below is a very quick Short showing how to enter the promo code EDSD24. If you’d like to see more videos about Entertainer, let me know by subscribing on YouTube and I’ll get some more on there.

Note the prices have come down a little since time of publication, and ALL Entertainer products are now discountable using the code.

Note - if you want to ensure alcohol-based offers are included, be sure to tick the check-box on the checkout page.

Hopefully, there will be a new promo code for discounts early in 2025 once the new product has been launched. If it follows the usual pattern, there will be an ā€˜early bird’ launch for 2025 product with no promo code for a few weeks, so if you’re keen on the discount hold on purchasing until I have an update.

Last but not least, I’m an affiliate for Entertainer, so if you buy using the promo code EDSD24 I may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you, and it will help support me. Thank you.

As always, if you ā¤ļø this newsletter and its content, please consider ā€˜buying me a coffee’ using the banner further down the page.

ENTERTAINER

Current Brunch Offers From Entertainer Worth Checking Out

Given there’s only a month left to use the promo code, I thought it would be a good opportunity to show some current brunch and drinks offers on Entertainer that may be worth checking out.

A brunch is perhaps one of the quickest ways to ā€˜get your value back’ via Entertainer. Purchasing via the promo code EDSD24*, Entertainer Dubai would cost 400.50 + VAT.

A brunch will typically be 250 AED+, depending on property and package (ie soft drinks, house alcohol, cocktails, champagne etc.) so to get one free would instantly give 250+ value back.

Note also some vouchers are ā€˜reusable’, so you can use the next time you visit.

Of course, the Entertainer isn’t just for brunches. Cafes, coffeeshops, restaurants (including Fine Dining establishments), bars, spas, lounges, attractions and much more are all available. There are also two for one on beach passes, such as Fluid Beach Club

Often, a restaurant or bar will offer multiple vouchers. This means that if, say 6 people attend a venue and use 3 vouchers, 3 will get free ā€˜Main Courses’ or drinks or whatever the attraction/outlet may be (eg a big bus tour ticket, attraction package ticket or similar).

Just ensure you click the checkbox at Checkout if you’re looking for the alcohol offers. Read this edition to find out more about using Entertainer for ā€˜free’ drinks.

Emirates Unveils New Lounge at London Stansted (STN)

Stansted isn’t mentioned much when it comes to Emirates and London, though it should be as often there are cheaper fares from there than LGW or LHR.

Emirates have now opened a new lounge (their sixth in UK) at STN, for First and Business passengers, as well as Skywards members. It has space for 125 passengers, cost some £4 million and is around 900 square metres.

DUBAI NEWS/TITTLE-TATTLE

Bal Harbour Beach, and Other Fully Redeemable Pool/Day Passes

Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah has recently opened up Bal Harbour Beach, and offer a fully redeemable day pass that can be used as credit on Food and Beverage spend. Cost is 150 AED during the week, or 250 AED at weekends.

Here are a few more fully redeemable pool and day passes around Dubai. And a few more beach clubs too.

I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but be wary of buying attraction tickets and packages through third parties and on the ā€˜secondary marketplace’. Global Village and Khaleej Times are telling you the same thing also.

Comment

In true Dubai fashion, there’s often a wide range of providers offering ā€˜deals’ when it comes to attractions; not all are up to par though. Some may offer weird ways to redeem, some may have restrictions on times or dates, and others just may be fine.

Ask yourself if it’s worth the hassle of involving a third party, and if a ticket appears cheaper, why it does. Sometimes you may have to dig into the small print, but whatever you do, do your due diligence and check it really is a ā€˜like for like’ comparison.
