Alas Yuri, we only knew you for a short while.

According to Bloomberg and a few other sources, it seems the Russian influx may soon be over.

Apparently with the rouble dropping over a third, the appetite for property purchases seems to have waned somewhat. I doubt that will stop the tourists/exiles flocking to Dubai though.

Back to Black for Dubai?

The race to build the UAE’s first casino resort is probably worth a bet in itself.

Dubai appears to have put plans on the backburner, and it appears Ras al Khaimah and (still surprisingly!) Abu Dhabi appears to be the front runners now.

Looks that sneaky tip a few editions back for RAK looks a good bet I’d say.
