If the Lady Likes a Tipple, Check Out a Ladies Night

Dubai is full of deals, if you know where to look. Whilst drinking can be expensive in Dubai, it can also be made much cheaper with things like brunches, happy hours, two for one deals and Ladies (and Gents) Nights.

Ladies Nights in Dubai are specific nights, usually a Tuesday, where venues will offer discounts, deals such as set menus and other packages such as free drinks. As with brunches, although there is one main night (Tuesday) for Ladies Nights, due to competition there are also some on Monday and Wednesday.

It’s well worth keeping an eye on these, as new ones come and go and offers change, and every now and then there are some bonkers-silly ones - usually one-offs or a ā€˜new kid on the block’ trying to make a name in a croweded market. One Madinat Jumeirah venue once did a 10 drink deal, and funnily enough, it only lasted one night as it got deluged!

Comment

Do check the rules of entry if you’re a couple or a fella, as some may vary in strictness and/or pricing.

If you research and plan well, you can often bundle a few Ladies Night deals together, especially if they’re in a similar location, such as Pier 7. Take a few drinks-only deals to start with, then settle down for a meal in a different venue (or vice versa!)

This is how much a pint costs in 11 bars around Dubai, according to Time Out.

Marriott Marquis Dubai, Jewel of the Creek, appoints new General Manager and Entertainment Officer.

Comment

This Marriott Marquis, not to be confused with JW Marriott Marquis Dubai at Business Bay, opened a few months back and could be an interesting pick for value.

Bear in mind Jewel of The Creek is a ā€˜very developing’ area, so there is a lot of construction still to be done, and there isn’t much to walk around, see and do in the local vicinity, but it’s relatively cheap on cash and points for the brand.

Etihad Airways 30% Off? (Book ASAP - Ends 17 Jan 25)

At present, some travel promotions feel more like advertising than actual value, but for those willing to click around, and be flexible on routings and dates, deals can be found.

Etihad Airways are currently running a few offers, including 30% off flights and 60% off extras such as seats, baggage etc.

There isn’t much ā€˜copy’ explaining things, but the gist of it seems to be:-

  • book by 17 Jan 25.

  • applicable discounts vary by routes, but MAN and LHR routes to AUH in economy and business are on offer.

  • travel between 24 Feb and 30 Sep 2025.

Have a gander at Etihad Airways 30%* and see if you can bag anything decent. I’ve seen London to Abu Dhabi in Business Class for just under Ā£2,400 return, so deals are there.

Entertainer Discount/Promo Code Update

ā€œI have it on very good authorityā€œ that promo/discount codes for Entertainer will be going live shortly, maybe early next month.

If you can hold off purchasing, you could bag a 10% discount when the codes are published. As soon as they are, you’ll hear it here, as I probably will send a Special Edition, unless they happen to drop on a Thursday.
