Emirates have launched a flash deal for complimentary nights at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.

For return bookings (or stopping over in Dubai for more than 24 hours) made on Emirates between 01 Jul to 21 Jul 24, for flights between 04 Jul to 15 Sep 24,

• First or Business Class travellers will get two free nights

• Premium Economy or Economy will get one free night

Marriott Weekend Escapes: 20% Off Weekend Stays

Marriott Bonvoy regularly run promotions called Weekend Escapes, which are effectively flash sales for weekend bookings over the next month.

In this case, book by this Sunday to receive 20% discount (Marriott Bonvoy members) or 15% discount for non-members.

What’s interesting is whilst the offer is aimed at weekend stays, sometimes the stay can cover past/before the weekend (i.e. a longer stay than just the weekend, providing the full weekend is included). As always, ‘Your Mileage May Vary’ so click around and see.

FLIGHT DEALS

Premium and Business Class Flights to Dubai €637/€1,114

Travel Dealz have found a couple of interesting return fares to Dubai.

Both will need ‘positioning’ flights to take advantage of, i.e. fly to another airport outside of UK. Bear in mind Saudia is a dry airline, if that’s of any consequence to you.

Milan Malpensa (MXP) is an airport that should be on your radar. It’s actually one of the busiest airports in Europe by the amount of destinations it covers, and it’s a decent airport. There are some interesting ‘fifth freedom’ flights from there such as Milan to Barcelona on Singapore Airlines, and also has good LCC connections such as Easyjet so it’s cheap enough for a positioning flight to get there from UK.

NH Collection Dubai the Palm on Sale at 45% Off

There are heaps of hotels on Palm Jumeirah these days, and many cover a wide demographic and not all are aimed at the 5 star market.

NH Collection Dubai The Palm recently popped up on Secret Escapes*, offering an apparent discount of 45%. It’s in a decent enough location, close to Nakheel Mall and Palm West Beach, so it’s not as isolated as some resorts on the Crescent.

Here’s a recent article from Forbes about the hotel saying it’s “perfect for budget travel”.
