Dubai Wins Top Destination in the World - Again

Trip Advisor has named Dubai as the top worldwide destination, according to its Travellers Choice Award, for the second year in a row.

Still No News on Entertainer 2024 Promo/Discount Codes

Bad News: Unfortunately, there is still ‘no news’ on if/when Entertainer 2024 promo codes will be issued.

Good News: As soon as they are, I’ll send them in a special one-off email (so it may not be Thu afternoon like the weekly emails).

I’m confident they will be out soon though, and the good news it’s unlikely there will be further discounts/promotions other than the codes, so you can ‘buy with confidence’ as soon as they’re published to get the best deal.

Inbound Tourism to Dubai Numbers Increase by 20%

During the first eleven months of 2023, 15.37 million international tourists visited Dubai, a 20% increase on the same period in 2022.

Europe had the highest amount of visitors, some 2.9 million which equates to 19% of the total.

As of November 2023, Dubai hotel rooms numbered 149,680 rooms across 820 establishments. Last November, there were 145,000 rooms. Hotel occupancy up to November 2023 was 77%, up from 73% last year.

Emirates to launch UK Skywards Credit Card?

Head for Points posted that Emirates are considering launching a new UK credit card which will earn Skywards Miles.

Also, if you're a Skywards member, check your email inbox as you may receive a survey for your thoughts, and for your contributing your thoughts you will be entered into a draw to win one of 10 sets of 100,000 Skywards Miles.

If you're not a Skywards member, it could be an idea to sign up and see if you get the survey.

Emirates to Recruit 5,000 Crew in 2024

Ever wondered how to get a cabin crew job at Emirates? Here’s all you need to know (apparently)

Whilst the article focusses on the local (ie GCC countries) and recruitment, it’s worth knowing Emirates also routinely does job fairs and exhibitions around UK, Europe etc. so keep your eye out if this rings your bell.

One site I’d always recommend for Emirates and cabin crew jobs is Paddle Your Own Kanoo. Along with heaps of great articles, there’s a great forum and resources including cabin crew entry tests.
